Overview
Consultants are required to help people move forward and yet often their advice is misunderstood or ignored. Even worse, the ‘advice’ may backfire and create a future problem.
Being able to conduct an effective consultation meeting is more than ‘dumping knowledge’ or ‘telling the other person what to do.’ It requires skills which few training consultants possess.
Consultant Training is a stimulating and practical course giving participants the key skills they need.

- to set up a meeting and the difference between internal and external customers, free and chargeable consultancy
- a simple format that reduces the risk of common errors and ensures a professional image
- how to use questions when the way forward is unclear and when it’s obvious to the consultant
- how to find the correct way forward that is owned appropriately be the customer
- how to ensure there is an effective plan and agreement
